Not very good, really.
Damn, this was heaps funnier than I ever remembered it being! In fact, I thought this was gonna be a nostalgic childhood memory trip, but I only really remembered the opening sequence and the odd scene here and there. Harry is such a dude. 7.5/10 beans.
The first of four films I got through flying home from Japan. This was more of a family movie than I thought it was going to be, but it was pretty enjoyable. Lame ending though.
I’d been looking forward to this one in a so-bad-it’s-good way, and after having just watched 51 I think it might even seem like a great film, but the damn disc is scratched and doesn’t read properly. I’d only seen about 19 minutes of film by the 35 minute mark, and it played from from then until the last 15 minutes when it stopped again and I just gave up. At least I got to see Gilbert Gottfried’s character.
The inside of the DVD slick has this mad fold-out monkey… here’s a nice big scan, it’d make good wallpaper material.
Stumbled across this on TV. Only watched the middle chunk of it, but that was enough to know that it was a steaming pile of shit. That fuck from King of Queens was annoying too.
Lots of childhood flashbacks in this one. I didn’t realise how long it must have been between viewings.. so many scenes I’d totally forgotten about until they came along.
